In December 2014, “A Life Path” brought me to work with pure hearted figures, Gerard and Baukje. Their vision was to improve people’s lives by creating new jobs and opportunities. I grew up through those opportunities, so I was very happy to be able to travel with them. I have seen the fruits of their visions over the years as day laborers grow into executives, have families and are able to care for them. And here I am with the new GUZO coffee factory, the same but more comprehensive.

We are realizing our vision, making a difference at a fundamental level and looking forward to seeing improvements in the lives of coffee farmers in my home country of Ethiopia, while operating our business equitably. And I am glad that you are ready to join this journey; “guzo” in Amharic, the language of Ethiopia.
